HiTechCloud, or Pho Tue SoftWare Solutions JSC, provides the Addons Backup Pro service based on a commercial product from JetApps (www.jetapps.com), provided as an add-on tool for customers to back up data on cPanel servers, for use with the Cloud Linux Hosting, Cloud WordPress Hosting, and Email Pro service packages. Features are provided on an as-available basis, depending on the product version installed on HiTechCloud's or Pho Tue SoftWare Solutions JSC's servers.

The Addons Backup Pro tool transfers data directly to storage provided by RSync.Net. Neither HiTechCloud nor Pho Tue SoftWare Solutions JSC keeps a copy on HiTechCloud's or Pho Tue SoftWare Solutions JSC's own servers, nor do they intervene in the data transfer between the Linux Backup Pro tool and RSync.Net.

By using this service, you understand and agree to the following terms:

1.   Data is transferred over the internet, so backup and restore times depend on the volume of data involved and on the link conditions between the server and RSync.Net. Backups may therefore start or complete later than scheduled, backup or restore operations may take longer than expected, and a backup or restore may fail if the link is too slow or the data volume exceeds what can be transferred over the internet within 120 minutes.

2.   HiTechCloud, or Pho Tue SoftWare Solutions JSC, reserves the right to configure certain file types and data to be excluded from the backup process:

  • Temporary files (.tmp, PHP session files, the /temp directory)
  • Files larger than 100 megabytes
  • Files created by the cPanel backup tool or by any other backup software.
  • Email data bundled with the Cloud Hosting service

3.   The backup process is halted in the following cases:

  • The directory holding the website to be backed up exceeds the inode limit
  • The service to be backed up has less than 20% of its total plan storage capacity free

4.   Neither HiTechCloud nor Pho Tue SoftWare Solutions JSC is liable for data loss or for the integrity of data handled through the Addons Backup Pro tool or stored on RSync.Net. You are responsible for verifying your backed-up data by downloading completed backup versions. We recommend downloading your backups regularly to guard against faults in the Addons Backup Pro tool or in RSync.Net.

5.   Migrating a service, website, or database to another server will completely delete existing backups, and the backup process must be re-established from scratch. You understand that in this situation you will have no backups at all until the backup process is fully re-established in the next cycle.

6.   Addons Backup Pro is subscribed for a minimum of 3 months and lapses if the primary service expires.
