Migration & Onboarding Service Terms

PART I - PURPOSE AND SCOPE

Article 1. Purpose

1.1. These terms govern HiTechCloud's provision of migration and onboarding services for new Customers moving onto HiTechCloud infrastructure, including: website migration, email migration, VPS/Cloud Service/Server migration and enterprise system migration.

Decree 53/2022/NĐ-CP on network data.

PART II – TYPES OF MIGRATION

Article 2. Scope of migration services

  • (a) Website migration: WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, Magento, Custom CMS;
  • (b) Email migration: from Gmail/Outlook/cPanel/Plesk to HiTechMail/Google Workspace/M365;
  • (c) VPS / cloud service / server migration: from AWS, Azure, GCP, Vultr or DigitalOcean to HiTechCloud (V2V or P2V);
  • (d) Database migration: dump/restore, replication to steady state, scheduled cutover;
  • (e) Application migration: including light refactoring and compatibility configuration;
  • (f) Migration to Kubernetes (containerization): image packaging and Helm chart authoring.

Article 3. Support levels

  • BASIC – Free: for websites < 5 GB and email < 100 mailboxes; automated; no minimum downtime commitment;
  • STANDARD – paid: a detailed plan, pre-migration testing and RTO under 4 hours;
  • ZERO-DOWNTIME – premium priced: includes real-time replication and a zero-downtime cutover.

PART III – RESPONSIBILITIES AND CONDITIONS

Article 4. Customer responsibilities

4.1. Provide complete source access details (cPanel/SSH/SQL/API), full credentials and an inventory of the resources to be migrated. Take an independent backup before migration. Cooperate in acceptance testing.

Article 5. HiTechCloud responsibilities

5.1. Migration planning, compatibility checks, execution of the move, testing, cutover and 7 days of post-migration support. Credentials are kept secure and deleted on completion.

Article 6. Exclusions

6.1. No compatibility commitment is given where the source software is no longer supported by its vendor. No refund is given where incorrect information supplied by the Customer causes the migration to fail.

PART IV – SECURITY AND PDPD

Article 7. Security during migration

7.1. All credentials and data are transmitted over encrypted channels, stored temporarily in a vault with a TTL, and deleted automatically 7 days after completion.

7.2. Sign a DPA under the PDPD where the data contains personal information.

PART V – FEES AND ACCEPTANCE

Article 8. Fees

8.1. Free on BASIC; STANDARD is charged by resource count; ZERO-DOWNTIME carries a fixed fee plus SRE engineer hours.

Article 9. Acceptance

9.1. After cutover the Customer has 72 hours for acceptance testing. No response within 72 hours is treated as acceptance.

Article 10. Effective date

10.1. These terms take effect from 19/05/2026.
