Testing and quality assurance

Find the bugs before your customers do

HiTechCloud provides independent testing for software and systems: functional testing, automation, performance under real load and a security review before go-live.

Overview

The team that wrote the code rarely finds its own bugs

Whoever wrote a feature tests it the way they imagine it being used. The serious bugs live on paths nobody considered: double-clicking the button, losing the connection halfway, typing Vietnamese characters into a number field, hitting back after payment.

An independent test team approaches the system as a real user and as an attacker, without the developer's assumptions. HiTechCloud takes that role, including for software built by someone else.

Beyond the software layer we test the infrastructure: how many concurrent users it holds, what happens when a server dies, and whether the backups actually restore.

Common problems

Signs quality is being checked by luck

The development team tests its own work

Whoever wrote the code struggles to see the flaws in their own assumptions, so many defects only surface with customers.

Every release breaks something that worked

With no regression suite, fixing one thing can break another and nobody finds out.

You only learn the limit when the system falls over

Load testing has never been run, so the real capacity only shows up on the busiest day.

No quality evidence to hand over

The client or the assessor asks for test reports while the results only exist in internal chat.

Services

The kinds of testing HiTechCloud performs

Functional testing

Testing against the business requirements, covering main flows, exception flows and the edge cases usually missed.

Automated testing

Building automated tests for the critical flows and wiring them into the pipeline so every change is re-checked.

Performance and load testing

Simulating real traffic to find the load ceiling, the bottlenecks and the infrastructure needed before launch day.

Security review

Checking for common vulnerabilities, misconfiguration, loose permissions and data-leak risk at both application and infrastructure level.

Testing on real devices

Running the app across device models, screen sizes and OS versions, including on a weak connection.

Restore testing

Restoring for real from backup and simulating infrastructure failures to prove the fallback works as designed.

What the service delivers

A report you can act on, not a list of complaints

The value of testing is that developers can fix the bug immediately, not in how many bugs were found.

  • Every bug comes with reproduction steps, input data and a screenshot or screen recording.
  • Graded by severity and business impact, so the development team knows what to fix first.
  • A summary of where the system is exposed, not just a list of individual bugs.
  • Retesting after each fix to confirm the bug is gone and nothing new broke.
Process

How a test cycle is run

  1. 01

    Intake and planning

Understanding the business requirements, system scope and which flows matter most.

  2. 02

    Scenario design

Writing test cases covering the main flows, exceptions and edge conditions, and preparing test data.

  3. 03

    Execution and record-keeping

Running manual and automated tests, logging bugs with evidence and grading them by priority.

  4. 04

    Retesting and reporting

Confirming fixes, running regression checks and handing over a summary report with recommendations.

Customers

Who this service is for

Businesses about to go live

  • The launch date is fixed and no independent party has tested the system.
  • You need to know how many concurrent users it can carry.
  • You want a test report to sign off the contractor.

Development teams with no dedicated testers

  • Developers are checking their own work.
  • There is no saved, repeatable set of test cases.
  • Every release breaks something that looked unrelated.

Businesses accepting software from a third party

  • You need an independent assessment before the final payment.
  • You want to know whether there are obvious security holes.
  • You need technical grounds to ask the contractor to fix things.
FAQ

FAQ

Do you test software built by another vendor?

Yes, and it is most of what this service does. Independent testing only has value when it is separate from the development team. We work in a test environment you provide and report directly to you.

Is test automation worth the investment?

For critical flows and systems that will keep evolving, yes — because every update means retesting. For a small project built once and rarely changed, manual testing is usually more cost-effective. We advise case by case.

Does the security review include penetration testing?

Scope is agreed in writing beforehand and work is only carried out on systems you own or are properly authorised to test. We review common vulnerabilities, configuration and permissions; deeper penetration testing is scoped separately.

How long does a test cycle take?

A mid-sized system usually takes 2–4 weeks for the first cycle, plus retesting after fixes. Performance and security testing are normally planned as separate cycles.

Testing before the system reaches production

Send us the system details and your target launch date. HiTechCloud will propose a test scope and an estimate.
