AWS advice from a team AWS has assessed

HiTechCloud is an AWS Advanced Tier Services Partner with the DevOps Competency. We advise on architecture, delivery and optimisation on AWS — and say plainly when part of a workload belongs in Vietnam rather than on AWS.

Overview

A Competency is earned from delivered work, not awarded as a badge

AWS grants a Competency only after reviewing real project evidence, interviewing the customers involved and testing the team's technical capability. For HiTechCloud, the recognised area is DevOps — infrastructure automation, CI/CD and operations.

What that means in practice: when you discuss an AWS architecture, the person across the table has built and run something similar, not just read the reference guide.

We also run our own infrastructure in Vietnam. So in every consultation, the hybrid option is always on the table alongside pure AWS — compared on real cost and real latency, not on a default recommendation.

Common problems

Why a business needs an AWS partner in Vietnam

Bills rise for no clear reason

AWS costs creep up with every service switched on. Without regular review, most businesses pay for resources abandoned long ago.

Architecture copied from a reference guide

AWS documentation is written for every case. Applied literally to one system, it usually produces an architecture far more complex than the business needs.

Nobody owns the problem when it breaks

AWS support works by ticket, in another timezone. When the system dies at 2am, you need a team you can phone.

Language and legal barriers

Contracts, invoices and data requirements under Vietnamese law need handling in Vietnamese, by a local legal entity.

Services

Consulting scope

Architecture assessment and design

Reviewing the current system and designing a target AWS architecture with availability, headroom and cost matched to real scale.

Cost optimization

Analysing the bill by service and tag, finding idle resources, and recommending Savings Plans, Reserved Instances and right-sizing.

Security and compliance

Least-privilege IAM, data encryption, centralised logging and configuration review against AWS security standards.

DevOps and automation

Infrastructure as code with Terraform or CloudFormation, CI/CD pipelines, separated environments and the ability to rebuild everything from source.

Data and analytics

Designing data pipelines, warehousing and reporting on AWS data services, with backup and long-term retention.

Hybrid with in-country infrastructure

Linking AWS to servers and private cloud in Vietnam, so data that must stay in-country does, without fragmenting the system.

How we advise

The first meeting is for listening, not for pitching

Before recommending any AWS service, we need to understand how the system runs today, what the real constraints are and what the monthly budget looks like.

  • Reviewing the architecture, component dependencies and current bottlenecks.
  • Analysing the current AWS bill, split by environment and service group.
  • Identifying which data must stay in-country under law or internal policy.
  • Two or three options with cost estimates, rather than a single recommendation.
Process

From assessment to operations

  1. 01

    Assessment

Gathering the current system state, costs, compliance requirements and business goals for the next 12 months.

  2. 02

    Design

Building the target architecture, estimating running costs and setting a phased migration roadmap.

  3. 03

    Deploy

Building the infrastructure as code, moving workloads piece by piece and testing before real traffic follows.

  4. 04

    Operations and optimization

Monitoring, periodic cost reviews and architecture adjustments as the system actually grows.

Customers

Who this service is for

Businesses already running workloads on AWS

  • You have an AWS account but nobody has standardised how it is used.
  • You want to know where the current architecture deviates before scaling it.
  • You need a technical contact who speaks Vietnamese when something breaks.

In-house teams who need someone alongside them

  • You have engineers, but none has run AWS in production.
  • You want knowledge transferred, not just a report delivered.
  • You want to keep control of your own account and infrastructure.

Businesses preparing for a milestone

  • A seasonal or campaign traffic peak is coming.
  • You are putting together a file for a partner or an assessment.
  • You need an AWS cost estimate that matches real usage.
FAQ

FAQ

What tier of AWS partner is HiTechCloud?

HiTechCloud is an AWS Advanced Tier Services Partner, holds the DevOps Competency and is a Well-Architected Partner. AWS awards these on the basis of delivered project evidence and assessed technical capability.

Do we buy AWS through HiTechCloud or directly?

Either works. You can keep your AWS account direct and use consulting only, or buy through HiTechCloud for a local contract, VAT invoicing and Vietnamese-language support from a domestic entity.

What if the assessment shows AWS is not the right fit?

We will say so plainly. For steady workloads that do not need elasticity, dedicated servers or private cloud in Vietnam cost considerably less overall. That conclusion comes with the comparison figures.

Does the data have to leave Vietnam?

No. A hybrid model keeps data that must stay in-country on HiTechCloud infrastructure in Vietnam, while other components run on AWS over a private link.

How long does a consulting engagement last?

An architecture and cost assessment usually takes two to four weeks. Migration or re-architecture depends on system size and is split into stages with their own deliverables.

Start with an AWS architecture review

Send us your current system details and HiTechCloud's AWS engineers will review the architecture and costs and propose an approach that fits your real constraints.
